Domestic Violence

This picture demonstrates a huge aspect of inequality in NYC: Domestic violence. Some may think that the period of injustice between difference sexes is over, , but even today , there is inequality between men and women . Why is it that a man can use his force to suppress a women but the women cannot do the same ? Why do men use their strength to threaten their partners , instead of protecting them . People are concerned with racism and poverty because it is out in the public , but no one realizes what happened behind closed doors. Citizens of the United states , and in fact all over the world , need to come together as one and stop women from being oppressed by domestic violence.
